Do you want a good life? Do you want to be a good person? In order to achieve these major life goals, we have some information to help you along the way--information gathered from teens your age! And surprisingly, adults agreed with it too! While some of these things, you may feel you have little control over, much of it you do! (See our link entitled, "Choices".)

The following are things your fellow teens found to be important in order to have a good life:

Establish a caring relationship with your parents and family: They are a major component of your support system. One easy way to accomplish this is to include your family in things that matter to you.

Be a support system for you family too: Care and support work best as a two-way street.

Make sure you have friends that you care about and who care about you: Quality is more important than quantity.

Find a good job and one you love: While money isn't the most important thing, financial security is part of a good life. You'll be able to support yourself and your family down the road. And if you like what you do, it's not really "work".

Give: Whether it's your money, your time, or your talents, it's important to help those around you and share your gifts.

Establish goals for yourself and pursue accomplishment: Your goals don't just have to be about grades. Even these tips can be goals you work to achieve.

Stay out of trouble: Don't break the law! Laws are surprisingly easy to follow if you do the right thing.

In order to be a good person:

Be nice (Remember the golden rule: Treat others the way you want to be treated.)

Be honest

Don't judge others

Be thankful

Put others before yourself

Be polite

Be loyal

Be respectful
