Are you struggling with your schoolwork, or do you simply want to do better? For many teens, school is a major cause of stress. In addition, good students can have trouble with schoolwork. It's a myth that only students with bad grades struggle. Regardless of the reason, here are a few tips for improving the quality of your schoolwork.

1. Talk to your teacher to identify your problem.

2. Learn how to successfully study. Just re-reading the textbook isn't necessarily successful studying.

3. Eliminate all distractions when completing schoolwork. (phone, TV, computer, ipod, etc.)

4. Find a seat in class that will help you. Ask your teacher to move you seat to a spot that will better help you concentrate.

5. Take advantage of school tutoring programs.

6. Get organized! (Use a planner to keep track of assignments and arrange class notes and materials in a way that you can understand.)

7. Review the material you are learning in class daily. Don't wait until right before the test to cram.

8. Always put in your maximum effort.

9. Make sure you get plenty of sleep at night.
